At Profotoknjiga, we are equipped with HP Indigo digital technology for printing from quire and rolls. The paper format is 32x46 cm for printing from quire, while the printing from the rolls also implies a 32 cm wide roll. The printing is made on machines in 4 colours on both sides in one go.

In the very production of the photo books we use a wide range of HP Indigo certified papers weighing 100 - 350 g/m2. The papers are coated gloss, semi matte and lustre with a certificate for HP Indigo technology. Special papers of various structure and thickness available on request can also be used.

The very quality of the imprint on the HP Indigo machines is on the level of modern conventional offset. The machines are using liquid colour, the so-called ElectroInk with 1 micron particles.

For the sake of comparison, the other "digital" technologies (Xerox and similar) use a powder toner for imprint with particles of 6 microns. This very fact points to the high quality of the imprint of the raster point which is very sharp and has a wide range of colour nuances so that it eventually there is no difference compared to the quality of photo printing.
